Fox will continue to produce and show new episodes of the animated comedy “Family Guy,” even though Seth MacFarlane — the executive producer who not only writes for the show but also provides voices for it — is refusing to work during the writers’ strike Give Us Your Feedback about this article!
Art Metrano, an actor who frequently appeared on "The Tonight Show"
performing simple magic tricks, is suing the FOX show "Family Guy" for stealing
his routine in their animated movie, "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story." Those
of you over 40 know who we're talking about.
In the movie, a future version of Stewie Griffin says that he traveled back in
time and that Jesus' abilities may have been exaggerated. The scene then cuts to
Jesus performing, Metrano claims, a "comedy routine identical in music, sound
and action to Metrano's act, 'The Amazing Metrano.'"
Well, I rented the new Futurama movie, and I must say I
was very impressed. The cast came back
in full stride. Almost every character
from the entire series showed up in some form or another.
Of course the normal cast of Fry, Leela, Bender, Zoidberg, Professor Farnsworth, Hermes, and Amy!
In addition, repeat characters such as President Nixon, Al Gore
(as himself!), Morbo, Nibbler, The Robot Mafia, Robot
Santa (and his elves), Hedonism-bot, Tinny Tim, Elzar, the
Hypnotoad; and yes, even Kif Kroker and Zapp Brannigan make an
appearance. If you pay attention, you'll even see The
Robot Devil!
Out of all the regulars that have appeared on Futurama, only a
small number weren't in the movie. Mom, Professor Ogden
Wernstrom, the cast from Star Trek (although they DID show
Leonard Nimoy's head!), The Police and Police Robot, and a few
others.
Even Futurama shows
appreciation to Family
Guy!
Well, this movie started off much like the restart
season of Family Guy, with an all out attack on FOX for cancelling the
show! (Although Family Guy's bash was funny, I personally thought that
the Futurama one was funnier!)
I'm not going to give away the movie, so don't worry. But, here's
the plot line. Fry, Leela, Amy, Bender and the Professor all give
their e-mail addresses to these three naked guys (if you have ever seen
Zoidberg without his shell out, that's what they look like)
Bender gets a virus, the crew discovers an odd tattoo on Fry's butt (of
Bender) which leads the crew and the aliens to a time portal.
If you've watched all of the Futurama episodes, the there are some
scenes in there which you will really appreciate while Bender is in the
past! The Aliens attacking the cities when Fry is frozen (Season 1,
First Episode), how Fry's dog becomes petrified, and more!
Events lead up to all the residents of Earth get kicked off, and a battle
soon follows (even the Futurama cast couldn't help themselves with
making references to Star Wars)
Lets just say that this was a funny movie, which made me laugh the
entire way through! If you are a Futurama fan, then this movie
should defiantly be on your "To Watch" list! Although some stuff may not make sense during the movie, it all comes together at the end (and all the flash backs are for a reason). Leave it to Bender to screw it all up, though!

A few months ago, I wrote an open letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, asking him to please help "raise the standard and do what [he] can to eliminate the indecent content aired during NFL games."
As you may remember, my original letter pointed to the sad fact that a number of advertisements and network promotional spots that are aired during NFL game breaks are completely inappropriate -- especially for the younger members of the viewing audience. The fact is, far too many of these ads are indecent and/or sexually suggestive. Talk about this news article here! I already did!
Well, I've been busy around here! I've added over 65 new sound, music
and video clips! Most of the video clips are from the episode Blue
Harvest. Please keep in mind that I only have Part 1 completed, and I am
currently working on Part 2!
Because of the vast amount of video clips from Blue Harvest, I have made an
entire directory in the video section dedicated just to this episode! It
will help everyone find what they are looking for!
Click here to view all the video clips!
Okay .... this isn't Family Guy news, but it's another cartoon that I love that shows every night on Adult Swim just before Family Guy; Futurama.
Good news, everyone, Futurama is back. After four years out of production and headlining Adult Swim, that loveable, subtle, chock-fulla chunks o’ funny is once again showing just how much life in the year 3000 is exactly like life now, but with aliens, robots, nude beaches and Dr. Zoidberg. The series’ first foray back into the world’s televisions and hearts is the feature-length “Bender’s Big Score.”
Many of our regulars may notice that 31SpoonerSt.com has a new look! After building up a new website, I began looking at this one and felt it needed a fresh touch.

The Menu is now in the middle top. If you have JavaScript 1.2 blocked on your internet browser, or JavaScript is blocked from running because of your firewall, it may not load.
You'll need to figure out how to allow it.
Also, our MySpace Pages have also been updated to match our new site! Drop into the forums and let me know what you think!
New Categories and Downloads
Well, I have seen some pretty damn funny Family Guy commercials out there, and I have added two (the two that I was able to capture as of now)
Peter's Subway Ad
To The Critics
I've also added a Seth MacFarlane section. He's done a few walk-ons and cameo's throughout his carrier, and I thought it wold be cool to have them on here.
You can access this new category using the menu above. Go to Downloads / Video Clips / Commercials or Downloads / Video Clips / Seth MacFarlane
I will add more soon, as well as getting many of the requests on the forums done, and getting clips from this season!
